How many Supplements? |

The supplement market is a huge industry. There are good products covering a vast range of uses, from general health to adding as much muscle as possible, without the use of anabolic steriods. People often get so drawn in by the overwhelming choices, that they can lose focus on where the ground work begins. Your actual diet and training are where you have to start. It does no good to spend hundreds of dollars each month, if you are not doing the proper exercise and nutrition to meet your goals Most products or advertisements even say, usually in small print, use in conjunction with proper diet and exercise. People also fall into a purchasing frenzy where they spend money on the "quick fixes". Shopping is an action that can create a sense of well-being, when people spend money on a supplement product they find new motivation to focus more on the other aspects of the their diet and training. So when they see results a month or so into their training, they assume the product works. Was it the product? Or was it the fact that by having the bright colored set of products on your supplement shelf that you paid hard-earned money for, that motivated you to stick to your diet and training more methodically? Was it you or them? It was both, but we have to incorporate supplements into our diet and training, not the other way around. That is why they are called "supplements". The ground floor of our success has to be our dedicaton to the diet and training we use to reach our goals.
